Unfortunately I didn’t get to spend as much time in Japan as I would have liked, with the majority of my time spent wandering the streets of Harajuku, Shibuya and Shinjuku (and getting lost several times I might add).
AG was on the top of my “must visit” places in Japan and is photo worthy as it took us over 45 minutes to find it, despite following a map in the train station. Like a little kid in a candy store, my eyes lit up! The staff there were so nice and helpful and spoke enough English to get by. I walked out with 2 pairs of AGs that day and my wallet several notes lighter.
Sitting at Starbucks looking down upon one of the busiest intersections in the world, the Shibuya crossing, is pretty mind blowing. The amount of traffic that comes through the intersection is staggering and not surprisingly, the Starbucks is one of the busiest in the world.
The quirky little shops with names like ‘Candy Stripper’ are found in little lanes amongst the vintage shops. There’s so much to explore with so little time. Don’t worry Japan, I’ll be back soon.
